Keema (Minced Meat Curry)

Keema is a flavorful minced meat curry cooked with a variety of spices and tomatoes. This dish is a quick and filling meal, perfect with naan or rice.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g minced beef or mutton
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add minced meat and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  5. Add water to create a gravy and cook on medium heat until the meat is fully cooked.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala and cook for 5 more minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander.
  8. Serve with naan, rice, or paratha.
